Arriving at the Dance

Students arrange for their own transportation to and from the dance.

-Any vehicle dropping off students is subject to search by Maple Grove Senior High administration upon reasonable suspicion.
-All students must present their student ID or their StudentVUE schedule to enter the dance.
-Maple Grove Senior High reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone.

The Homecoming Dance will take place outdoors on the field at Crimson Stadium; in case of inclement weather, the dance will be held in the MGSH Main Gym.

• No HIGH HEELS will be allowed at the dance, due to the surface at both locations. 

• All dance attendees must arrive for check-in by 9:00pm.

• Once a student has left the dance, they will not be allowed to re-enter.

• All attendees must be at least a freshman (9th grade) and no more than 19 years old.

• All participants attending the event must present a school ID, State ID or (for MGSH students only) StudentVUE app on phone to enter

• The Homecoming dance is a district-sponsored event that is alcohol, chemical, tobacco, and weapon-free. We will contact your parent/guardian and the police if you arrive at the school event under the influence or in possession of prohibited items .All school rules and expectations must be followed at this school-sponsored event.

Non-MGSH Dance Guests must be pre-approved before tickets are purchased: Guest Forms are available on the school website or can be picked up in the Main Office.

• Guests that are out of high school must get approval from a MGSH administrator.
• Maple Grove students may invite one non-MGSH guest.

• All guests must arrive at the venue with their MGSH host student.

• MGSH students and their parents/guardians are responsible for their guest’s behavior; if your non-MGSH guest is asked to leave, the MGSH student will also be asked to leave.

• If there is a problem with a guest, the MGSH student will lose the privilege to bring a guest to any future MGSH events.

• All guests must follow school rules and expectations for this school-sponsored event.
